About This Workshop
Learn how to set up live data sharing between Oracle Autonomous AI Databases using Cloud links (direct connection) and Data Studio. Data sharing is making the same data share available to one or many consumers. With live data sharing, you can share data as of the latest database commit with Autonomous AI Databases in the same region. The recipient will always see the latest data. To provide access to live shared data, you must define data shares and grant recipients access to consume them. To consume live data shares, the recipient needs to subscribe to them and create views of tables included in the live share. The views can be queried using SQL scripts.
Nowadays, the ever-growing amount of data has become a strategic asset for any company. Sharing data - within your organization or externally - is an enabling technology for new business opportunities. Sharing data and consuming data from external sources allows to collaborate with partners, establish new partnerships and generate new revenue streams with data monetization.
