This workshop walks you step by step through creating a full stack functional application including OCI Compute, OCI Cache, OCI PostgreSQL and the necessary core OCI components.

The core focus is on the integration of caching and database working together to deliver high performance. The application requires minimal setup and utilizes Go and JavaScript, allowing you to spend more time exploring key integration concepts and observing the real-world impact of caching through a dynamic, visual interface. We have also included an overview of the enterprise capabilities for each service, highlighting features such as cluster scaling and disaster recovery.

  • An Oracle Cloud account (i.e. access to an OCI tenancy)
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful but not required
