About This Workshop
WebCenter Content: Records enables organizations to define, manage, and execute records and retention policies for all enterprise content from a single application. In this workshop, you will create a disposition schedule for the Legal Documents category. There will be one record folder for each agreement where records related to a specific agreement will be assigned to the correct folder. The Legal Documents category will contain record folders like MOU's, Non-disclosure Agreements and Software Agreement Documents each having specific disposition rules that have custom triggers and periods. We will then set up the disposition schedule to use folder inheritance so that all of the records in the same folder will be disposed of together. All the records prior to disposal are subjected to review by authorized users in a workflow. In order to retain certain documents after the disposition condition is met, legal holds will be placed on records to prevent accidental or intentional deletion of documents.
