In this workshop, you will build an AI-powered chat assistant for a coffee shop using Helidon and LangChain4J. The assistant will understand natural language, provide menu recommendations, and guide users through the ordering process.

  • Lab 3: Enable AI Capabilities in the Project
  • Lab 4: Build an AI service
  • Lab 5: Add Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Lab 6: Prepare Application Data
  • Lab 7: Fill the Embedding Store
  • Lab 8: Fine Tune the Responses
  • Sample - Familiarity with Maven is desirable, but not required
  • Some understanding of Code Editor (IDE) is helpful
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful
