In recent months, the field of AI Agentics has gained significant traction, showcasing the remarkable potential of AI to perform advanced logical reasoning and execute complex, multi-step tasks autonomously. The session will guide attendees through the process of creating a fully functional AI agent using Python and the LangChain framework. Through a practical example, we will demonstrate how an AI agent can seamlessly interact with relational data and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data stored in an Oracle Database 23ai. Additionally, participants will learn how to extend the agent's functionality by integrating external tools, such as sending emails or generating PDFs, showcasing the versatility of AI agents in automating diverse workflows.

  • Familiarity with Oracle 23ai Database. Vector Search, RAG, Python

  • Familiarity with databases is desirable, but not required
