Unlock the power of Oracle’s next-generation analytics ecosystem in this hands-on workshop designed for new data professionals and cloud practitioners. You’ll explore the “lakehouse” paradigm by working with real airline operations data, learning to ingest, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets using Oracle AI Data Platform (AIDP).

You’ll build an end-to-end pipeline—loading raw data into the cloud, performing scalable cleansing and enrichment with Spark and Delta Lake in AIDP, serving curated analytics in Autonomous AI Data Lakehouse (ADL), and discovering actionable insights through interactive dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). This session requires no prior cloud experience and leaves you prepared to accelerate analytics projects using Oracle’s robust Lakehouse patterns.

  • Lab 2 - Refine and Prepare Data with AI Data Platform
  • Lab 3 - Gather Insights with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • Basic familiarity with navigating web-based user interfaces (Oracle Cloud Console, cloud labs, or similar)
  • Some understanding of cloud and database concepts (e.g., what is a table, schema, object storage)—desirable, but not strictly required
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful but not mandatory; step-by-step instructions will be provided
  • Prior experience with SQL or Python/Spark is beneficial, but no coding is required beyond following guided notebook/cell instructions
  • An Oracle Cloud account or lab-provided credentials (with access to AIDP, Lakehouse, and OAC) is needed
  • No prior experience with Spark, Delta Lake, or Oracle Analytics Cloud is required
