About This Workshop
Learn how to configure your Autonomous AI Database as an MCP server and use it in combination with Select AI Agent-defined tools. This MCP server is a fully managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for Autonomous AI Database Serverless. There is no customer-hosted MCP infrastructure required and enables immediate integration with MCP-compatible clients (Claude desktop, OCI AI Agent, etc.). You can enable AI apps to interact with ADB features without custom glue code, while using secure access through Database Identity and OAuth2.1-based Identity providers (Entra ID, Okta, etc.). Being part of the database, the MCP server provides enterprise governance, auditing, and policy enforcement (ACL/PE, VPD, audit logs, rate limits). The MCP server supports 19c and 26ai databases.
