About This Workshop
Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure on Oracle AI Database@AWS brings the full power of Oracle’s highest performance database platform directly into AWS datacenters, operated and managed by Oracle. Customers get the same Exadata hardware, smart storage, low latency RDMA networking, and Oracle Database optimizations—without moving data across clouds. This service is ideal for mission critical OLTP, mixed workloads, and real time analytics that demand predictable performance, high availability, and deep Oracle Database feature compatibility.
Key Highlights
• Native Exadata inside AWS — OCI managed Exadata racks deployed physically in AWS regions, providing local data residency and low latency access.
• Full Oracle Database feature set — RAC, Data Guard, Smart Scan, HCC, and all Exadata specific optimizations work exactly as they do in OCI or on premises.
• High performance & scalability — Scale compute and storage independently, with ultra fast I/O and intelligent storage offload for demanding workloads.
• Integrated multicloud operations — Unified identity, monitoring, and lifecycle management across OCI and AWS environments.
• Ideal for enterprise migrations — Lift and shift Oracle workloads to AWS without refactoring, while maintaining Exadata level SLAs and operational consistency.
