This workshop brings together the power of Oracle Analytics Cloud, Visual Builder, and the OCI Generative AI Service to deliver an application that provides a powerful tool for analyzing NBA performance. In this workshop you will use NBA datasets to create OAC dashboards which include custom map backgrounds and layers to map statistics onto court locations. These visualizations are embedded into a Visual Builder app using iframes. The app also leverages the OCI Gen AI Service to allow users to ask questions about the data with natural language. This extends the analysis abilities of this tool beyond what the visualizations display, as the Gen AI model can inform its response user questions using the underlying datasets of the dashboard. This unique use case shows how the OCI Gen AI service can be used alongside other Oracle products to improve upon and augment the manner in which users interface with them.
