Integrating your databases with OCI IAM both improves security and simplifies database administration. User credentials are managed in a single location instead of in every database. Password resets are done with IAM and not with the DBAs.

In this workshop, you will learn how to enable OCI IAM as the identity provider for your Autonomous Database-Serverless instance. Your new OCI users will be able to work in the ADB-S instance, without a DBA having to perform any additional steps. Through this integration, you will manage database users in OCI IAM as opposed to on each individual ADB.
