This workshop shows an end to end workshop of the migration of an on-premise WebLogic Server Domain into the containers and makes it runable in OCI with Oracle WebLogic Suite for OKE [WLS for OKE] stack. We demonstrate the graphical interface of WebLogic Kubernetes Toolkit UI as well as WebLogic Deployer Tool and Weblogic Kubernetes Operator. We demonstrate how the migration process could be simplified and accelerated by using a DevOps-oriented set of tooling.

  • Testing the Deployment of Application to the WebLogic for OKE Stack [WLS for OKE] on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Scale the WebLogic Cluster
  • Sample - Familiarity with Database is desirable, but not required
  • Some understanding of cloud and database terms is helpful
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful
