Oracle GoldenGate, the industry-leading data replication and integration software, is now available as a fully-managed, cloud native service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This workshop guides you through the steps to set up and use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate. Learn to design graphical data transformations such as data flows and workflows to move and transform data between systems in OCI GoldenGate.

  • Lab 1: Set up the environment
  • Lab 2: Create the OCI GoldenGate resources
  • Lab 3: Create the Extract process and use Oracle Data Pump to export data
  • Lab 4: Use Oracle Data Pump to import data and create the Replicat
  • Lab 5: Monitor Extracts and Replicats
  • Lab 6: Purge unused Trail files
  • Lab 7: Create the Data Transforms resources
  • Lab 8: Create and run a workflow
  • Experience with Oracle Database
  • Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate is helpful, but not required
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is helpful, but not required
  • Experience with Data Transforms is helpful, but not required
