About This Workshop
Platform engineering is all about building consistent, repeatable practices the streamline development and deployment activities across an organization. Oracle Cloud provides an open ecosystem running on next gen compute infrastructure to deliver fast, functional solutions.

Backstage is an open source framework for building developer portals. Powered by a centralized software catalog, Backstage restores order to your microservices and infrastructure and enables your product teams to ship high-quality code quickly — without compromising autonomy. Backstage unifies all your infrastructure tooling, services, and documentation to create a streamlined development environment from end to end.

Pulumi is an infrastructure-as-code platform for full-stack developers and cloud engineers who are interested in using a general-purpose programming language for their cloud resources. Pulumi isn’t just one thing. It’s an ecosystem of components that all work together.

We'll utilize this collection of best-in-class, open source tools to deploy a self-service portal on OCI that will empower development teams to quickly and easily provision the resources they need to deliver business value.
