About This Workshop
Understand how to scale and automate the management of multiple Oracle Databases across your enterprise.
This workshop will guide you not only to provision Pluggable Databases (PDBs) in your database instance but also perform administrative tasks on the PDBs. It will take you through different options for creating new PDBs in your Container Database (CDB), for example, using the Seed and by cloning another PDB. The workshop also provides detailed steps for removing PDBs from the database instance, such as deleting PDBs and unplugging PDBs from the root container. Moreover, you will learn how to plug in an unplugged PDB into a root container and create a new PDB. You will then perform additional tasks on the PDBs, such as closing and opening the PDBs.
You will perform all these tasks on your Oracle Database in a web browser using Oracle Enterprise Manager.
