About This Workshop
In this hands-on lab, participants will explore the powerful integration of Oracle APEX and Oracle AI services, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLMs), to create a seamless, AI-driven solution designed for document management and analysis. Participants will learn how to build applications that enable users to interact with documents via chat, allowing them to quickly analyze, extract valuable insights, and easily upload documents to Oracle Cloud services, such as Object Storage.
The lab will guide participants through the process of integrating Oracle APEX as the front-end solution for building intuitive applications, while building a native chatbot for conversational AI capabilities. Users will interact with documents, asking natural language questions and receiving real-time responses, empowering them to extract key information quickly. Oracle AI, powered by LLMs, will be used to analyze uploaded documents, such as financial reports, press releases, and news articles, to deliver insights through advanced natural language processing.

On the backend, participants will explore how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI services and Autonomous Database can be used to process and analyze the documents stored in Oracle Cloud, applying pre-built AI models to extract relevant insights. The AI models will be trained to identify key information within documents, such as sentiment, financial highlights, and important trends, helping users make data-driven decisions faster.
