Are you looking to take advantage of your existing Oracle data to create intelligent applications with Generative AI? In this hands-on Oracle LiveLab, you’ll combine the power and ease of Oracle APEX with cutting-edge OCI Generative AI services. Learn how to build an APEX application using data in your Oracle Database and enhance it with Generative AI to assist users in querying, summarizing, and interacting with that data using natural language. The lab walks you through each step: from database setup, low-code app creation, to GenAI API integration.

  • Lab 1: Deploy Autonomous Database and Create APEX Workspace: 

  • Lab 2: Configure GenAI in your Tenancy & APEX Workspace 

  • Lab 3: Create APEX Application and Integrate AI Chatbot 

  • Lab 4: Extend Your APEX App with Grok Model 

  • Familiarity with Oracle Database and SQL is helpful but not required 

  • No prior APEX experience required 

  • Understanding of OCI Console navigation and basic services is beneficial 

  • Oracle Cloud Free Tier or trial tenancy is sufficient for lab completion
