AVDF expands beyond database activity monitoring to manage your Oracle Database’s security posture, enhancing its best-in-class activity monitoring capabilities with visibility into security configuration, user entitlements, stored procedures, and the types of sensitive data.
In this workshop, you will learn how to assess, monitor, and protect databases in your enterprise and get notified of any unauthorized activities. You will work with a compliance dashboard with reports on sensitive data access and before/after values.

  • Examine database audit/activity reports
  • Assess the security posture of your Oracle Database
  • Prevent SQL injection by deploying a Database Firewall policy
  • Monitor data  exfiltration
  • Receive notifications of critical/unauthorized activities
  • Track changes to key data elements using before/after value reporting
  • Familiarity with the database is preferred
  • It will be helpful to have completed the DB Security - Unified Auditing lab prior to beginning this lab
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful
