In this lab, you'll explore the enhancements to Data Redaction in Oracle Database 23.6 on Oracle Autonomous Database. You will be guided through securing customer data within the sales history schema. By leveraging Oracle Data Redaction, you'll learn how to create redaction policies that allow the schema owner to view sensitive data while preventing other users from accessing it. The lab will also showcase how the new features in Oracle 23ai can further enhance the security of your analytic workloads.

  • Explore built-in Data Redaction types and regular expression redaction
  • Test various queries, including advanced group by and union operations
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database is desirable, but not required

  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful
