About This Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, will walk you through the process to build a real-time dashboard in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) that allows you observe the use of Java in your enterprise using Java Management Service (JMS).
The session begins with setting up the environment, followed by creating a Fleet and configuring a managed instance within JMS. Participants will then set up an Autonomous AI Database and configure JMS to export relevant instance data—specifically managed instances, java runtimes and applications.
With the export in place, the workshop guides participants through creating an OAC instance, importing a JMS OAC template, and securely connecting OAC to Autonomous AI Database. Finally, attendees will configure periodic data imports in OAC to ensure the dashboard reflects the latest managed instance information.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a functional OAC dashboard displaying up-to-date IP addresses and host names from JMS, supporting improved visibility of Java resources.
